Pilgrim VR (Lite and Premium Versions) - End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and the Center of Islam in the Contemporary World (CICW) (“we,” “our,” or “us”) concerning your use of the Pilgrim VR: Hajj and Umrah software application (“Pilgrim VR: Hajj and Umrah” , “Pilgrim VR “ or “the App”), including both the Lite version and the Premium versions.

By installing or using Pilgrim VR: Hajj and Umrah, you accept and agree to the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, CICW grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Pilgrim VR (Lite and/or Premium) for personal or internal educational use only.

Commercial use is strictly prohibited for both the Lite and Premium versions.
This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Selling or reselling access to the App;
  • Charging users to experience Pilgrim VR;
  • Using Pilgrim VR as part of a paid course, exhibit, or business offering;
  • Distributing or streaming the App or its content in exchange for compensation.

2. Intellectual Property

Pilgrim VR and all content within it—including software code, 3D assets, narration, designs, audio, and visual elements—are the intellectual property of CICW or its content providers. All rights are reserved. No part of the App may be copied, modified, or reused for commercial purposes.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Use the App for any commercial or monetized activity;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code;
  • Share or sublicense the App to others;
  • Bypass security features or licensing restrictions.

4. Educational Purpose

Pilgrim VR is designed to be an educational and spiritual tool. It is not a replacement for official religious guidance and does not issue fatwas or religious rulings.

5. Privacy

Pilgrim VR does not collect personal data. For any data submitted through our website (e.g., newsletter or contact forms), refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Updates

CICW may update or modify Pilgrim VR at any time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified version.

7. Termination

This Agreement and your license will automatically terminate if you breach any part of it. Upon termination, you must uninstall and delete all copies of the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pilgrim VR is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. CICW disclaims all warranties including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CICW shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the App.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Virginia.
